Sound Correction: Can you help this audio? (August 16, 2010) Audio is half the picture they always say. Audio can sell an effect, enrich the story, or completely distract us from the video. Join us September 7th, as two sound professionals take a look at Sound Track Pro and sound techniques. We will be hosted by Shock City Studios, a full service audio, film and video production company. A tour of the facilities rated as one of the hottest new studios in the world (Mix Magazine) will be given after the meeting. Topics covered will be: 1. A general overview of sound correction 2. Different techniques for cleaning, fixing and enhancing audio. 3. Options for interfacing with Final Cut Pro The meeting is an open call to all local digital media artists – novice to experienced – who want to meet their peers throughout the St. Louis region and grow professionally through discussions, seminars and collaborations.
